Bancassurance

Bancassurance is the sale of insurance products through a bank's branch network and staff, under a corporate agency or broking arrangement between the bank and one or more insurers.

The operating challenge is attention: branch staff have banking targets first, so lead sharing, joint calls and branch-level visibility decide how the channel performs.

Issuance quality and renewal ownership matter more here than in agency, because the customer relationship sits with the bank.
